Our Santa Fe headquarters is now open; we have established an arts collective here, called 328 [ collective ] featuring Cinta Sinta Fashion Boutique, open 7 days a week. 

This Fall and Winter we will be giving talks at the Boutique, and i have been musing on this for awhile now......

I thought, if I ever gave a talk,

it would be called “Digging in the Dark at

3 am. – Confessions of Myself.” 

Though what I might say,

I am not really sure.

Or maybe I’d call my talk “Confessions of a Confused

Bee-Spinning Cloud-Watcher.”

Then I could talk about most anything

that came to mind, in the moment. 

And it would surely be appropriate. 

For that is the gift that comes with 

not knowing what I am going to say, 

the beauty of the improvised line,

like jazz on a hazy summer evening,

a riff that arises from a 

certain kind of pain.
